  1. INSTALLATION OF SPUd PUZz
  2. -------------------------

  4. To install SPUd PUZz on your computer (min. 386, WINDOWS 3.* and VGA)
  5. make a directory on your hard drive (ie. PUZZ) and copy the contents
  6. of the diskette into this new directory.
  7.  
  8. example:  in the C: drive root directory, C:\ type 
  9.  
  10.     mkdir PUZZ <ENTER>
  11.     cd PUZZ <ENTER>
  12.     <make sure the SPUd PUZz disk is in your floppy drive>
  13.     copy a:\ <ENTER>
  14.  
  15. Start WINDOWS and use the PROGRAM MANAGER to install the puzzle
  16. into WINDOWS.
  17.  
  18.     1. Select FILE.
  19.     2. NEW
  20.     3. PROGRAM GROUP - name it what you wish.
  21.     
  22.     4. Select FILE.
  23.     5. NEW
  24.     6. PROGRAM ITEM - use BROWSE to find the PUZZ.exe
  25.        file in the directory you created (ie. C:\PUZZ).  
  26.        Make the working directory this same directory.

  28.     7. There is a selection of three ICONS for the
  29.        puzzle.  Select the CHANGE ICON button to choose
  30.        the one you like best.

  32. The puzzle is now ready to play by clicking on it's ICON in the
  33. PROGRAM MANAGER window.

  36. REGISTRATION

  39. REGISTRATION will get you the rest of the puzzles shown in this
  40. version plus six others. Also in the update will be some features
  41. such as the ability to save a puzzle in progress, reset the score
  42. list for a level etc. A FRENCH version of the puzzle can be provided
  43. if requested. The puzzles are all cartoon in nature.
  44. If you wish to see other types of images, make a note of this on
  45. the REGISTRATION FORM.  Be sure to read the LICENSE AGREEMENT.
